New to this year’s lineup of Rising Stars are Sarah W. Benedict for business/corporate and James R. Silvestro for land use/zoning. They join Kelley B. Duke listed for business litigation, Mark E. Lacis for business litigation and Benjamin J. Larson who is also listed for business litigation.
Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the Colorado Super Lawyers list. Rising Stars are lawyers who are 40 years old or under or who have been practicing for 10 years or fewer. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the Rising Stars list. Annual selections are made through a multi-phase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research evaluations and peer reviews.
