We are proud to welcome business attorney Eric R. Benson as our newest shareholder and director.
In his practice, Benson advises clients on business structure and formation, mergers and acquisitions, leases, contracts, employment, compensation and incentive plan issues, matters related to equities and debt, and general corporate matters. Additional elements of his practice include healthcare, tax, tax reform and ERISA matters.

Benson joined Ireland Stapleton in 2013 after working with Partners Healthcare in Boston where he implemented a project using technological innovations and patient entered data to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery. Prior to that, Benson was an employee benefits and executive compensation attorney at Bingham McCutchen, in Boston. Benson earned his law degree from Harvard Law School and bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. In addition to his law practice, Benson serves on the Dartmouth Association of the Rocky Mountains board of directors and leads the group’s charitable and community services initiatives, and he is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.
