
In 2020, the Colorado Legislature enacted SB20-205 which required employers to enact paid sick leave policies and greatly impacted existing paid leave policies across the state of Colorado with the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (“Act”). While the Act took effect for large employers on January 1, 2021, ALL businesses with 15 employees or less must comply with the Act starting January 1, 2022.
