Popup Denver 2023 Applications Open!
Popup Denver is an initiative, formed by the Denver Department of Economic Development and Opportunity and the Downtown Denver Partnership, to activate storefronts in Denver’s most prominent commercial district, the 16th Street Mall, and more specifically, Upper Downtown. The initiative offers selected applicants an opportunity to set up shop in a downtown storefront, as well as discounted rent and a $20,000 package to help with interior design, setup, and merchandising support.
This initiative started in 2022 and is back by popular demand in 2023! This year, there are several locations available and two different application tracks – one for more experienced retail store owners and one for entrepreneurs who need additional assistance developing their brand before moving into storefront operations.
