Jim Killean, a real estate and energy lawyer in the Denver-based business law firm, Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, has been selected to the board of directors for the Colorado Lawyers Committee.
The Colorado Lawyers Committee is a nonpartisan consortium of 58 Colorado law firms who advocate, negotiate, and litigate for children, the poor, and other disadvantaged groups. Lawyers who donate their time focus primarily on public policy issues and systemic changes.
Killean has been active in the Colorado Lawyers Committee in the past, serving as a nonprofit advocate for the Clinic in a Box task force. “The Colorado Lawyers Committee allows attorneys to use their skills in the community. It’s a worthy cause and I’m looking forward to being involved on this level,” said Killean.
