J. Elizabeth Poole, an environmental and real estate attorney at Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC, has been elected to the Sprout City Farms’ Board of Directors.
Sprout City Farms is a nonprofit organization formed in 2010 by farmers, researchers, teachers and business leaders in an effort to increase food access and community resiliency through urban agriculture. The group works with partner organizations in the Denver Metro area to provide fresh food to schools and surrounding neighborhoods.
“Sprout City Farms has the farming know-how, a clear vision, and a smart, dedicated team that has proven they can make a difference in the Denver food system,” said Poole. “ I’m honored and thrilled to be a part of the organization.”
Poole counsels clients, including battery and electronics manufacturers, retailers and recyclers; members of the consumer products’ industries; commercial landowners and real-estate developers; and waste management companies on a broad range of environmental, real estate, health and safety-related regulatory matters.
