Opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator

This job description is established by Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor and Pascoe, PC (the “Firm”) to outline the basic requirements, duties and general responsibilities of the position of the Marketing Coordinator. This position is “at-will”, which means either the Firm or the employee may terminate the employment relationship without notice at any time, for any or no reason.

Summary of Position

Working out of the Denver office, the marketing coordinator supports the Marketing Director and the Firm Administrator in the implementation of all firm-wide marketing, communications, and business development efforts as well as administrative duties as assigned.

Essential Duties:
  1. In coordination with the firm Marketing Director, plan and execute the production of marketing materials and the logistics of webinars, seminars, on-site and off-site internal/client-facing events, teleconferences, and other business development activities
  2. Follow industry trends and organize regularly scheduled client and/or attorney meetings and conference calls, as well as initiate follow-up on specific action items
  3. Develop and maintain mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles
  4. Produce corporate profiles and competitive intelligence research reports on clients and prospects
  5. Aid the Marketing Director and attorneys with drafting and editing legal updates, case summaries, and website content as needed
  6. Collaborate and/or work independently on assigned projects
  7. Perform other marketing and business development tasks as assigned
  8. Maintain relationships and our submissions with relevant legal and attorney directories and publications
  9. Develop and maintain mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles
  10. General clerical responsibilities including, but not limited to: scheduling/typing/copying/faxing/emailing legal documents, etc.
  11. Handles confidential matters daily relating to client or employee documents
  12. Occasionally answers telephone and provides information as requested to Firm’s employees, clients and third parties
  13. Composes routine correspondence
  14. Maintains employee/client files and records
  15. Schedules appointments/meetings with Firm’s employees, clients and/or third-parties
  16. Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Skills and Physical Requirements:
  1. Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds frequently
  2. Occasional bending, stooping, walking, running, standing, setting, kneeling, crawling, squatting, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching above the head, and reaching away from the body
  3. Seeing, hearing, and responding to the needs of co-workers
  4. Proficient speaking, reading, and writing in the English language
  5. The ability to work productively and collaboratively with others
  6. The ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
  7. This position will involve periods of mental, physical, and/or emotional stress. Must have the maturity and sound judgement needed to handle these situations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Excellent written and proofreading skills
  2. Strong organizational, team building, and communication skills
  3. Ability to successfully collaborate with other team members or work autonomously
  4. Proficient in Office 365, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications
  5. Must be detail oriented, organized, and efficient
  6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines and demands in a fast-paced law firm and/or corporate environment
  7. Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects correctly
  8. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and supervisors
  9. Work well in a progressive, team-oriented environment
  10. Possess a positive attitude and be a self-starter
  11. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at a level adequate to perform the job
Position Qualifications:
  1. Associate degree in marketing, communications or equivalent experience
  2. Three to five years’ experience in a professional services industry
  3. Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
  4. Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  5. Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure, in a deadline-driven environment, with a consistently high production level
  6. Initiative, a “can-do” attitude, flexibility, resiliency, awareness of surroundings and a willingness to assist where the need arises
  7. Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written), with all levels of staff and clients
  8. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  9. Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  10. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with attorneys, staff and management
  11. Satisfactory results from background check

Time worked in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at time and one-half of the hourly rate. The salary range for this position is from $19.23 – $26.44 per hour, depending upon experience.
