Aaron Guin is a member of Ireland Stapleton’s Employment Law practice group. Aaron advises public and private sector employers on matters ranging from wage and hour issues, managing injured/disabled workers, discrimination/harassment claims, and establishing sound policies and practices. Aaron presents training to managers and employees on issues such as performance management, documentation, the ADA, reasonable suspicion, and legal issues for managers and HR professionals.
Aaron has advised employers of all sizes – from solo practitioners to multi-state organizations with thousands of employees. Prior to joining Ireland Stapleton, Aaron was legal advisor to the Human Resources and Safety and Risk Management departments for the City of Fort Collins – an employer of over 2,400 individuals.
After clerking for the Tennessee Supreme Court out of law school, Aaron spent the next fifteen years of his career as a trial attorney in Nashville and throughout middle Tennessee. Since 2017, however, Aaron has focused his efforts on advising clients on employment law and risk management issues to help them avoid litigation when possible. Aaron serves as the Legislative Chair on the Board of Directors for the Northern Colorado Human Resources Association (an affiliate of SHRM).
