Ireland Stapleton attorney, Aaron Guin began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Chief Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court before spending 15 years as a trial attorney in the Nashville metropolitan area. During most of his career, Aaron focused on representing municipalities and their employees.

Before joining the City of Fort Collins in June 2021, Aaron served as an employment law attorney with Employers Council in Loveland, where he provided legal counsel to both private and public sector employers.

At the City of Fort Collins, Aaron has held several roles, including advising Human Resources, managing outside litigation, and providing guidance to the Safety and Risk Management department. Earlier in his tenure, he advised the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Building Review Commission, and the Land Use Review Commission within the Planning, Development, and Transportation service area.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys biking around Fort Collins, skiing, and paddling at Warren Lake. A passionate college basketball fan, he is a dedicated Tar Heel supporter.
