Senior Litigation Associate Job Description
Job Description: Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC is seeking a senior litigation associate to join the Firm’s litigation practice group.
Skills/Requirements: The ideal candidate should have at least three to five years of experience working on commercial lawsuits in state and federal courts. Candidates should have excellent writing skills and want to work directly with clients and firm shareholders on all phases of a lawsuit.
Duties/Responsibilities: Work will include participation in internal and client strategy discussions; drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and jury instructions; taking and defending depositions; and appearing in court for hearings and trials.

Legal Assistant
Job Description: Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC is seeking a legal assistant to help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and ensure we’re operating efficiently.
Skills/Requirements: Knowledge of legal principles and practices at a level normally acquired through formal legal assistant training or its equivalent, including proficiency in legal terminology.
Requires knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including transcription and typing skills of 65 wpm, as well as modern office practices, principles of modern record-keeping, and setup and maintenance of filing systems.
Competently operate a personal computer, typewriter, photocopier, scanner, printer, and facsimile machine. Demonstrate intermediate to advanced-level skills with Microsoft Office programs and other software and internet applications commonly used in law firms for document management. Transcribe dictation using digital transcription software, e-filing with State and Federal websites, calendaring, and research.
Working knowledge of local, state, and federal filing rules.
Approximately 3 to 7 years of on-the-job experience in order to possess the expertise needed to do substantive legal support work. Experience with Microsoft Office programs, Colorado E-Filing, and PACER/ECF is preferred.
The Firm may require its assistants to complete Notary Public training, pass the exam, complete the application, and keep an active Notary Public license at the Firm’s expense.
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to 80 percent of the work time when evaluating legal matters. Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort and strain while organizing and maintaining multiple cases.
Ability to sit at a desk and work with documents and/or a computer for extended periods of time.

Marketing Assistant
Job Description: Working out of the Denver office, the marketing assistant supports the Marketing Director in the implementation of all firm-wide marketing, communications, and business development efforts as well as administrative duties as assigned.
Skills/Requirements: In coordination with the firm Marketing Director, plan and execute the production of marketing materials and the logistics of webinars, seminars, on-site and off-site internal/client-facing events, teleconferences, and other business development activities
Follow industry trends and organize regularly scheduled client and/or attorney meetings and conference calls, as well as initiate follow-up on specific action items
Develop and maintain mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles
Produce corporate profiles and competitive intelligence research reports on clients and prospects
Aid the Marketing Director and attorneys with drafting and editing legal updates, case summaries, and website content as needed
Collaborate and/or work independently on assigned projects
Perform other marketing and business development tasks as assigned
Maintain relationships and our submissions with relevant legal and attorney directories and publications
