International Women’s Day, celebrated each year on March 8th, is the day the world commemorates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. WorldDenver celebrates this day with an annual event that honors women’s achievements and highlights global efforts to accelerate gender equality.
This year, WorldDenver’s International Women’s Day event will feature Jane Marie Chen, inventor, entrepreneur, and CEO of Embrace Global, as the keynote speaker and will honor other women for their global achievements.
WorldDenver is a nonprofit community organization that promotes a greater understanding of world affairs and cultures throughout the Denver Metro area, creating and implementing unique programs that connect Coloradans with experts, leaders, and ideas from all over the world.
