Ireland Stapleton recently hosted two meet-and-greet events, organized by the Firm’s regulatory and government affairs director, Tom Downey, with candidates running for Colorado Governor in the 2026 election. We were honored to welcome U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, who has represented Colorado in the Senate since 2009, and Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, who has served in his role since 2019. Each event brought together community members, local supporters, and the candidates for thoughtful conversations about Colorado’s future.
Senator Bennet highlighted key priorities including expanding access to affordable housing, improving healthcare availability, and strengthening education and workforce opportunities statewide. Attorney General Weiser spoke to issues of affordability, public safety, environmental protection, and building a more sustainable future for all Coloradans. We were proud to provide a forum where attendees could ask questions, share their perspectives, and engage directly with these leaders dedicated to addressing the state’s most pressing challenges.
