Ireland Stapleton welcomes Charles L. Borgman and Jennifer Gilbert to the Firm.
Charles L. Borgman is a seasoned real estate attorney assisting developers, investors, lenders, housing authorities and nonprofits in the development, financing and operation of real estate projects in Colorado, with an emphasis on affordable housing projects. Prior to joining Ireland Stapleton, Borgman served as General Counsel for Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. In addition to his law practice, Borgman is an active member of the Downtown Denver Partnership and the nonprofit, Warren Village. Borgman earned a B.A. from the University of Iowa and he earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Jennifer Gilbert, a former Assistant Attorney General who practiced in revenue and utilities and a former Deputy District Attorney in Colorado’s 18th Judicial District, is an accomplished trial attorney with extensive experience litigating criminal, regulatory, administrative, and appellate matters. Now in private practice, Gilbert represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of complex commercial litigation and appellate matters. She earned a B.S. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and she earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
