Job Description

The Litigation Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial. This position requires strong experience managing federal and state court cases, preparing trial materials, and coordinating complex case logistics.

This role is not remote but will be considered for a hybrid work-from-home option.

Skills/Requirements

5-7+ years of paralegal experience in complex civil litigation

Strong experience supporting both federal and state court litigation

Deep knowledge of Colorado court rules, procedures, and filing requirements

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Technical Skills

Experience with legal research tools, eDiscovery platforms, and document management systems such as:

Westlaw, LexisNexis

iManage

Relativity, Disco, Everlaw

Familiarity with trial presentation tools are a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Duties/Responsibilities

Case & Litigation Support

Draft, file, and manage pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

Ensure compliance with federal and state court rules and procedures

Perform cite-checking, fact verification, and proofreading of legal documents

Case Management & Organization

Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines

Track document productions and manage exchanges with opposing counsel

Organize and manage complex case records

Trial & Deposition Support

Prepare exhibits and evidence for depositions and trial

Support attorneys during trial, including on site coordination

Collaboration & Communication

Coordinate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel

Assist with case strategy preparation and logistics

Job Description

Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC is seeking a senior litigation associate to join the Firm’s litigation practice group.

Skills/Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least six plus years of experience working on commercial lawsuits in state and federal courts. Candidates should have excellent writing skills and want to work directly with clients and firm shareholders on all phases of a lawsuit.

Duties/Responsibilities

Work will include participation in internal and client strategy discussions; drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and jury instructions; taking and defending depositions; and appearing in court for hearings and trials.

Summer Associate Program

Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe’s 10-week summer associate program provides practical and substantive real-life, on-the-job training. Our summer associates immerse themselves in transactional and litigation matters. They work with seasoned attorneys and help conduct research, prepare legal memoranda and correspondence, participate in corporate and financial closings, and attend court appearances, negotiations, and depositions. The summer is filled with opportunities to develop skills and relationships while gaining practical experience. Throughout the program, summer associates establish a solid foundation for future success.
