Ireland Stapleton attorneys, Rebecca Almon and Kelley Duke, together with Jacy Rock of Suncor Energy and Melissa Brownstein of EKS&H, sponsored the first Leadership Denver Jingle & Mingle holiday event benefiting the Mile High United Way Children’s Holiday Party.

The four women, all of whom have or are participating in the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Denver program, pulled together to collect toys and cash donations for Denver families served by Mile High United Way.

“I wanted to gather other leaders in our community and introduce them to Mile High United Way, and in particular the Children’s Holiday Party that serves Denver area families,” said Almon, “The Party’s reading corner is especially inspiring, seeing the kids’ faces light up when they pull a book out of Santa’s bag is just incredible; it’s so easy to take for granted the value of having books at home.  Not only are they learning but it’s a great way to bring families together.”

The Holiday Party, taking place on December 7th, involves activities for the whole family, including face painting, cookie decorating, crafting, a reading corner, visits with Santa Claus and a donated gift room where parents can select Christmas presents for their kids.
