Employment law and special district attorneys, Dino Ross, Michelle Ferguson and Emily Powell will speak at the Special District Association’s (SDA) annual conference in mid-September.

In two separate presentations, Ross, Ferguson and Powell will address employees, administrators, executive-level personnel, and board members from special districts around the state on how to prevent discrimination and harassment complaints; and due process, freedom of speech and invasion of privacy for public employees.

The SDA serves the interests of more than 1,300 special district members who provide services such as fire and rescue, ambulance and emergency medical services, water and wastewater treatment and delivery, parks and recreation amenities, hospitals, libraries and cemeteries in communities throughout Colorado.
