James J. Killean, a director with the Denver-based law firm, Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC, has been elected as a council member to the Colorado Bar Association’s Real Estate Section.
Council members serve to promote, clarify and educate other attorneys about issues arising in Colorado real estate law. Additionally, the group drafts and responds to legislation affecting the real estate law in Colorado.
Killean, a real estate and natural resources lawyer, leads Ireland Stapleton’s real estate and energy practice groups. He frequently represents land owners and businesses on a variety of real estate and energy related matters including, acquisitions and sales, real estate finance, land use, commercial leasing, property rights, easement and boundary issues, as well as oil, gas and renewable energy matters. Further, he regularly works with businesses in the energy and environmental service industries.
