James R. Silvestro



James R. Silvestro is an associate attorney at Ireland Stapleton with a diverse litigation practice that includes all stages of product liability, business, land use and real estate litigation. Mr. Silvestro also advises many of the firm’s clients on the intersection of local state and federal environmental law with land use, zoning and other developmental issues.

Prior to joining Ireland Stapleton, Mr. Silvestro served as an Honors Attorney for the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. In his first year after law school, Mr. Silvestro served as a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice Michael Bender of the Colorado Supreme Court.

Mr. Silvestro earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where he graduated first in his class and served as the Managing Editor for the University of Colorado Law Review.
