Nine Ireland Stapleton attorneys have been recognized in the 2019 edition of Colorado Super Lawyers magazine.
New to the list this year is trial lawyer Kelley B. Duke. Duke who was previously recognized as a Colorado Rising Star by the same publication, has been elevated to the Super Lawyers list and is recognized for her business litigation work.
Returning to the Super Lawyers list are Rebecca L. Almon, listed for environmental law since 2014; Michelle B. Ferguson, listed for employment and labor as a Super Lawyer since 2015 and as a Rising Star from 2009 – 2013; K.C. Groves listed for business litigation since 2006; and Russell W. Kemp listed for real estate since 2009.
Returning to the list of Colorado Rising Stars are Mark E. Lacis, listed for business litigation since 2013; Benjamin J. Larson, listed for business litigation since 2014; Lidiana Rios, listed for business litigation since 2017; and James R. Silvestro, listed for land use/zoning since 2017.
Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the Colorado Super Lawyers list. Rising Stars are lawyers who are 40 years old or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or fewer. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the Rising Stars list. Annual selections are made through a multi-phase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research evaluations and peer reviews.
