CLC Derby Party: Betting Big on Justice

Ireland Stapleton takes part in the Colorado Lawyers Committee’s Derby Party, Betting Big on Justice, hosted by the organization’s Young Lawyers Division.

This lively, Derby-themed event brings together the legal community for an evening of food, drinks, friendly competition, and a silent auction—all supporting a meaningful cause. Guests are encouraged to don their best Derby attire and enjoy a festive atmosphere while “betting” on horse races for prizes and bragging rights.

Proceeds from the event support the Colorado Lawyers Committee’s projects and the Young Lawyers Division Grant Program, helping expand access to justice through pro bono representation, legal clinics, training, and other critical services for underserved communities across Colorado.

The Colorado Lawyers Committee is a nonpartisan consortium of law firms dedicated to advancing opportunities for children and underserved populations through impactful pro bono legal advocacy and systemic change.
