
Chuck Borgman is a seasoned real estate attorney who assists developers, investors, lenders, housing authorities, and nonprofit organizations with the development, financing, and operation of real estate projects throughout Colorado, with a particular focus on affordable housing. He serves as Of Counsel to Ireland Stapleton.
Chuck joined the firm following a distinguished career in private practice and in public service, including his role as General Counsel of the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. As a member of the executive management team, he advised the board of directors on corporate governance matters and oversaw the organization’s legal, compliance, and internal audit functions. In that role, Chuck also advised the Low Income Housing Tax Credit group on the development and application of the annual Qualified Allocation Plan for the allocation of tax credits.
In addition to his work at Ireland Stapleton, Chuck currently serves as part time General Counsel for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, Inc.
