Jon Brummet, associate at Ireland Stapleton, joined the firm in January 2025 and focuses on litigation in construction defect, commercial liability, premises liability, personal injury, and real estate professional liability.
Jon advises and defends construction professionals, property acquisition companies, and real estate professionals throughout all stages of litigation. He manages mediations, settlement conferences, and multi-party lawsuits, and frequently resolves cases before trial through effective negotiation and dispositive motions.
Jon is skilled at early case evaluation, clear client communication, and working efficiently toward resolution. His calm, strategic approach allows him to consider all perspectives in pursuit of the best outcome.
Before law school, Jon lived and worked in South Korea for ten years, where he honed his communication and management skills. He also gained practical experience through clerkships and internships, including at a large law firm in Seoul and with the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys playing drums in rock bands, reading, spending time with his family, and coaching youth sports on weekends.
