Biography

Naomie Pierre-Toussaint is an attorney in Ireland Stapleton’s Estate Planning, Probate, and Tax litigation groups. In her practice, she represents clients in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities, ensuring compliance with tax obligations and reduction or abatement of various penalties. With a deep understanding of the Colorado Probate Code and the Colorado Uniform Trust Code, Naomie provides guidance to clients navigating complex probate processes and trust administration issues to successfully transfer assets in accordance with estate plans. She also assists clients with estate and gift tax return preparation, particularly taxable estates. Naomie is dedicated to providing reasonable and practical solutions when representing her clients.

Prior to joining Ireland Stapleton, Naomie practiced as a Probate and Tax attorney where she gained valuable experience preparing individual and fiduciary income tax returns to ensure tax reporting obligations were met. Naomie worked closely with family members and fiduciaries to accomplish necessary transfers of assets and resolve complicated probate and trust issues.
