Biography

Thomas J. Wolf is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who represents companies, executives, and entrepreneurs in complex civil litigation. He has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials in state and federal courts across the United States. Tom is widely recognized for his swift and calculated approach to disputes involving trade secrets, unfair competition, commercial lease and finance matters, breaches of asset purchase agreements, computer fraud, real estate development and lending, real estate partition actions, contested probate matters, commercial fraud, and minority shareholder claims.

Tom is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy and Civil Pretrial Practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a distinction that recognizes excellence in legal advocacy, demonstrated competence, and professional integrity.

In addition to his litigation practice, Tom advises local and national companies on mergers and acquisitions and counsels real estate developers, builders, and lenders on various aspects of real estate transactions, including the purchase, sale, and leasing of development projects.

A natural extension of Tom’s practice is advising clients on business succession planning and the preservation of family wealth. He works closely with clients to develop tailored estate planning strategies designed to protect assets and preserve legacies across generations.

Tom joined Ireland Stapleton in 2008. Before joining the firm, he was a partner at Myer, Swanson, Adams & Wolf, P.C., a Denver law firm founded in 1960, where he practiced for 26 years.
