
Timothy G. Atkinson is a seasoned litigation attorney known for his ability to untangle highly complex legal matters. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, general corporate matters, and employment law counseling.
After graduating from law school, Tim clerked for the Honorable R. Lanier Anderson III on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He then practiced as an associate with Quarles and Brady in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and with Kirkland and Ellis in Denver. In 1991, Tim joined the Denver office of Reinhart, Boener and VanDueren, where he later became Managing Partner in 1998.
In 2000, Tim transitioned from private practice to an in house role as Executive Vice President of Business Development and General Counsel of Quentra Networks. In that position, he led the acquisition of six companies and oversaw all legal affairs. He later served as General Counsel of Expanets, Inc., an $800 million per year communications equipment and services provider, where he was responsible for all legal matters and supervised human resources for more than 3,000 employees.
Before attending law school, Tim was a staff instructor for the Winter Park Handicapped Ski Program, now known as the National Sports Center for the Disabled, and participated in the inaugural Winter Olympics for the Disabled.
